The Siberian Indian Dog (SID) is a social breed that is good with children, intelligent, and rarely barks. They are versatile, considered hypoallergenic, and do not have the typical doggy smell. SIDs are a cross between the Native American Indian Dog (NAID) and a Siberian Husky. When looking at a designer, mixed, or hybrid dog it is best to look at the characteristics of both breeds when deciding if this is breed for you.

Siberian Huskies are an active, energetic, resilient breed with a loving, gentle, playful, and happy go lucky personality. They can be high energy especially when young. They are good with children, and strangers, and tend not to make good watchdogs because they do not bark much. Siberian Huskies do best in homes where their owners are a confident pack leader and training is consistent. When bored, not trained, nor adequately exercised, or when having a less than suitable outside containment area they may have a tendency to roam.

The Native American Indian Dog (NAID) is an extremely intelligent, versatile, and non-aggressive breed that loves to play, particularly with other dogs, or to hang out with their family. When well socialized they love people, especially children, and to go on outings. They enjoy a long lifespan, and have hypoallergenic properties. The majority of NAIDs are family pets; they are also used as therapy dogs, handicap assistance, search and rescue, in pulling contests, as skijoring dogs, companions at nursing homes, and childcare centers, and hunting. This breed does best in homes that have an adequate outside area, and with a family that is willing to take the time to consistently train them.
JAACE'S Animal Companions takes great effort to breed the best quality, and personalities into our pups. We are aware of the social needs of our dogs, puppies, and make an effort to help adopting families learn about the needs of the breed, and their new family companion. We encourage our puppy owners to stay in touch and ask questions. We are certified trainers and happy to help via email, phone, or be hired to help train pups.

The greatest compliment we can receive is when our puppies find lifetime homes, where they are well trained, have families that love them, whom they will love back.
