A breed of wild origins, these dogs are small to medium sized with a fox-like appearance. They are extremely intelligent, agile and graceful. When well socialized, they are very submissive and gentle towards people. However, they still retain their strong wild hunting instincts. Their most unique characteristic is their dramatic ability to vary the pitch of their howl which is how they got their name. They needs lots of exercise.
