Petit Bleu de Gascogne - This breed was created through selective breeding of the Grand Bleu de Gascogne to reduce the size in order to hunt small quarry. Petit Bleu were recognized by the UKC in 1991. These dogs have an even temperament and are never shy or vicious. They make good family dogs and train easily. Their superior noses make them excellent hunting dogs. Petit Bleu have a short, weather resistant coat. Brush once a week. These dogs stand 20-24" at the shoulders and weigh 40-48 lbs.
