Temperament Test

Are you one of those who get stage fright? Ever wonder what your dog would really do if...? Now is your chance to walk through a mock test (with no score card) and see what happens. Having someone hold your hand and using positive reinforcement should your dog act adversely is the key to proper socialization. $15.00 fee. See info below. Remember that this test is not offered often enough. This is not something you would want to miss out on. Documentation is vital for the professional working dogs, it could be your pet's lifesaver for defense in a civil suit or be the difference in your insurance carrier. Hindsight is 20/20 wouldn't you be curious as to your dogs' score? Is it 20/33?

Tested in responses to friendly, neutral, suspicious and threatening strangers as well as footing, noise and ability to cope with stress. Ordinary stimulus are used and the reactions are then scored. It is not a competitive test rather a number is used to gauge preferred responses. Test is open to all breeds as well as mixed breeds of dogs.

This takes No training. Would you praise good behavior? YES! How should you dog be acting? Ask the evaluators at this one day event. I would recommend you take a copy of your AKC (for correct name spelling on the certificate that will be mailed at a later date to those who pass). Dog must be at least one year old (or close).
