Standard Poodles

South Paws' produces a litter of AKC Standard Poodle puppies about once a year.

Standards are the largest poodle in the breed. They are very smart and easily trained. They excel in all dog performance activities. They make wonderful companions for your family; they get along nicely with well mannered children and other pets. The only down side to a Standard Poodle is the cost of grooming, something to consider.

When I have a litter of Standards one or both parents are AKC champions. Parents are tested for PRA, SA, OFA and vWD. Standard puppies are raised in my home, provided the best of care, vaccinations and worming are up to date for their age, and are vet checked before going to a new family.

I am working to produce Standards in silver, white and blue. I have a Champion black girl, Electra, who will be producing black Standard puppies in the near future.

I am happy to provide references from former buyers and my veterinarian's name and number. I can provide a video or photos of the puppy before buying. I can also send photos of the parents.

All companion puppies are place on the AKC limited registration. They can not be used for breeding, just loving. Spaying or neutering your Poodle will make it a better pet and reduce the risk of cancer. Shipping is available provided the temperatures are acceptable.

I breed for my future show puppy, but not all puppies are show puppies for some small reason. I can only show so many at a time; therefore, I value my companion homes. Check with me for your loving, devoted Standard puppy.

Please do your homework before buying a companion over the internet, check references and ask if the breeder is standing behind their puppy. Not all breeders are equal, and not all puppies are the same.
