Old Sound Avenue Bernese Mountain Dogs is a small, family-based breeder located on Eastern Long Island, NY in beautiful wine & horse country. Our mission is to breed the highest quality stock emphasizing even temperaments and longevity. We breed ONLY Bernese Mountain Dogs. We implement the U.S. Military's Super-Dog neuro-stimulation program on days 3-16 and also socialize using the Rule of Seven through week 7. Pups are raised indoors as family members with kids & cats; not kenneled outisde. Vet checked, de-wormed, first shot, R-dew claws removed. Both parents have graded CERF (eyes) and OFA (hips & elbow dysplasia). Included is a basic one year health guarantee.

Previously Sold Puppies

All our pups are sold under a spay/neuter contract (by 6 months of age) and may be shown in all AKC events except Conformity. We also require new pet owners to sign statement insuring pup will attend a basic obedience course (puppy kindergarten) with in its first year of life. We have nonrefundable deposits of $200 to reserve a puppy. An additional $1400 is due on day of delivery. We have gorgeous, robust, well-marked puppies.
