Health and Hip Guarantee

1. Seller certifies that this puppy is purebred, pedigree is correct, and is eligible for registration with the AKC.  Application for AKC registration is to be supplied to the Buyer by the Seller within a reasonable amount of time according to contractual agreement.  If spay/neuter agreement is checked above, application for registration will be mailed upon receipt of proof of spay/neuter from licensed veterinarian.
    

2. Puppy is healthy (licensed veterinarian checked), sound, socialized, has received ___ sets of puppy shots and has been treated for worms upon delivery.  The Buyer must confirm a claim of illness or parasites within 72 hours by a veterinarian examination.
    

3. Seller guarantees the puppy to be free of crippling hereditary defects detectable to one (1) year of age.
    

4. Seller guarantees Show/Breed puppies to O.F.A. certify (if properly cared for including veterinarian care, vitamins, proper food, housing, etc.) and puppy will be replaced if dysplasia occurs up to 28 months of age.  Seller reserves the right to take puppy/dog back at Buyer's expense (including return shipping charges) before replacement or alteration of the puppy/dog is made.  All veterinarian expenses incurred during this time are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.  Moreover, the Buyer must provide Seller with written results from O.F.A. veterinarian's written report of the spay/neuter and the puppy/dog's AKC papers.
    

5. Seller does not guarantee pet quality or spay/neuter puppies to O.F.A. certify but will replace a puppy with one of equal quality if severe dysplasia requiring euthanasia occurs up to 24 months of age.
    

6. All replacement puppies will be of equal quality with purchased puppy subject to quality availability.
    

7. Seller assumes no responsibility for pigment fade or beige color that may appear on the coat (usually occurs seasonally or in extreme weather conditions).  The dogs health is not affected by this.
    

8. This guarantee is null and void for any of the following reason:



A. The dog changes ownership.

B. The dog is bred before 2 years of age or before O.F.A. certification is obtained.

C. Evidence of abuse is present.

D. Not providing Nu-Vet vitamins to dog on a daily basis.

Buyer's Agreement

1. Buyer agrees to use "NOAH'S ARK" as the first part of the dog's name on the AKC registration papers and will not alter, move or remove any part of "NOAH'S ARK" from the registration papers.  Failure to comply with this requirement voids all guarantees and agreements.
    

2. Buyer agrees to inform Seller of Buyer's current address and phone number for the life of the dog.  Photos & current updates are highly appreciated!
    

3. Buyer agrees to notify Seller if the Buyer either choose not to, or is unable to keep the dog.  The Seller has the first option to take back the dog.
    

4. Buyer agrees to O.F.A. certify the dog before breeding it in order to promote better breeding practices.  Buyer also agrees to provide Seller with a copy of O.F.A. results.
    

5. Buyer agrees to maintain current vaccinations and preventive medical care, provide Nu-vet vitamins, proper food, water and lodging.  Furthermore, Buyer agrees not to tie or chain the dog unless supervised by an adult at all times.  Buyer agrees to take puppy to first available puppy obedience course (a $25.00 rebate from Seller with copy of certification).

Please know that at "NOAH'S ARK" we are dedicated to satisfaction and the enrichment of our dogs lives.  We want you to be happy, but we want our dogs to be happy and safe too.  If you follow these small steps to ensure a healthy, happy puppy, you too will be completely satisfied.

1. Do not breed (intentionally or unintentionally) before age 2 and O.F.A. certification.
    

2. Provide your puppy/dog with the Nu-vet vitamins and supplement daily.
    

3. Provide timely and correct vaccinations and preventative medical care to your puppy/dog.
    

4. Provide proper shelter, food and love to your puppy/dog.
    

5. (Highly Suggested) - Take your puppy to at least one beginning obedience class. These are highly intelligent dogs with unlimited potential but everyone concerned will benefit from this class.
   *Remember the $25 rebate.

Violation of the contract will constitute Buyer's unconditional surrender of the purchased dog and all registration documents at no cost to the Seller. Furthermore, any legal action is to be in the county of the Seller's residence at time of claim.
