| The Westie
is a sturdy dog originating in Scotland. In recent years it has gained popularity because of its attractive appearance and sporting instincts. It gets along with children and other dogs, making it an ideal family pet. |

| Exercise The Westie adapts to town or country. It will live indoors or in a kennel, but will be happiest as a family pet living in the house. This breed enjoys energetic game playing.

Height - 11 inches "at the withers".
Weight - 14-18 pounds "my Westies". (AKC has no requirement.)
