About Us

We are home-based dog breeders on the front range of the Colorado Rockies. Our whelping box is in our family room next to the fireplace. Our puppies are hand-raised in our family home, and are well socialized by our entire family, including 3 children, grandparents, nieces, nephews and friends, our Border Collie and Tabby Cat.

About Our Doodles

Mom, Melissa of Governor's Ranch ("Missy") is a 4 year-old, DOB 9/4/2003, AKC registered low shedding Golden Retriever from a line of field and show dogs. Missy has been OFA certified for hips and CERF registered for her eyes. Missy has a lovely Golden Retriever lifestyle: running, swimming, making snow angels, tennis ball chasing and walks in the neighborhood. She is very intelligent, loving, affectionate and in excellent physical condition. Dad, Linder's Beau Jangles is an AKC Registered Cream/ White Parti Standard Poodle. Current Health Clearances: vWD "Clear", CERF "Clear", OFA Hip "Excellent", OFA Elbow "Normal". Beau has a wonderful disposition, and is quite the little social butterfly.

Our Puppies

We have 4 puppies available for adoption from our winter 2007 litter. The total adoption fee for each puppy is $1300 and includes the following: Copies of the parents' 3-Generation Pedigrees, a written 2-year Health Guarantee; training and feeding information, including a sample bag of puppy food, a leash and safety collar and toys with their Mommy's scent. Your puppy is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of the sale and will have all age appropriate vaccinations, dewclaw removal, worming, and permanent identification by microchip.

Getting Ready For Baby

We recommend How to Raise a Puppy You Can Live With, by Clarise Rutherford and David Neil and Childproofing Your Dog: A Complete Guide to Preparing Your Dog for the Children in Your Life, by Sarah Wilson and Brian Kilcommons. Since puppies test nearly everything with the 'chew test', put your things out of their reach, especially expensive shoes, cleaning products, sharp tools, medicines and pesticides. And leave plenty of chew toys out for puppy to play with.
