Kawamaisou Kennels is located in Washington State halfway between Seattle and Portland, Oregon. I have been raising and showing dogs for 30 years, starting with Alaskan Malamutes.

We have been raising and showing Shibas since they were AKC recognized in June 1993.

We have both Show and Pet puppies.
All our breeding stock are AKC champions and/or show stock.

Multiple best of breed and group placer.
Award of Merit at Westminster Show February 1996.
Has produced 9 Champions to date.
As of November, 2001 at the National Specialty at the age of 9 years old, Toshi won Best Veteran in Show and went on to win an Award of Merit.
