Thank you for your inquiry regarding our Coton de Tulear dogs.

I have included some information regarding the breed standard, and a bit of history on them. We feel that they are an ideal breed in many ways - cuddly, affectionate, intelligent, non-shedding, and non-allergic. Their average size of 9-11 pounds, and 9-11 inches make them ideal companions in both city and country homes. They are registered in a variety of clubs in Canada, the United States, and Europe.

The main focus of our breeding program is to raise puppies that are sound in both physical and mental health. Our puppies receive a proper amount of socialization as they develop. We prefer to place our puppies in their new homes at the age of 7-8 weeks, or after the age of 10 weeks. At these ages they are very social and ready to bond with their new families. There is a very good book on the market that I would suggest as a reference to any prospective puppy owner. Your library should have one if you do not wish to purchase it. It is called The Art of Raising a Puppy and is written by the Monks of New Skete.

We provide a two-year written health guarantee with any puppies purchased, as well as further information regarding training, feeding, and basic care. Our breeding dogs have been cerfed (eyes examined by a certified veterinary opthamologist), and given regular health check-ups. All puppies are examined for luxating patellas, given a thorough health check-up, their initial round of shots, and de-wormed prior to placement in their new homes.

As previously mentioned, our focus is on good health and temperament. However, the dogs are also all from show winning, champion bloodlines with excellent pedigrees-both European and Canadian. We have several litters of puppies each year with several different bloodlines available. We carefully ship our puppies into loving homes in all corners of Canada and the United States.
