About Us

Gene Kimmel of Kimmelot Pet Resort in Stevinson, California grew up with Mini Dachshunds as his favorite pets. Now that Gene is retired, he's bought a Champion sired long coat red male, and 4 smooth coat females in white pied with black spots, or double dapple patterns to raise fancy color Mini Weenies with loving , happy, personalities. He's produced about 5 litters so far, and his vets and buyers are very impressed with the quality and fancy colors. These dogs are especially pretty and loving.

Gene also has 15 years experience breeding German Shepherds with Dawn Dalyce of www.Kimmelot.com and 4 years experience raising Chihuahuas with Dawn Dalyce of SugarnSpice Chihuahuas at www.snschihuahuas.com.

Gene bought a 14 acre, licensed kennel and built a huge 4,500sq. ft. temperature controlled MD barn with 20 indoor rooms and outdoor runs leading into well equipped playgrounds sized in acres, and took over housing and entertaining all the dogs. The clean kennel is inspected by AKC and visited by our vet, and is highly recommended as the nicest environment they've ever seen for dogs to live and play in.
