My name is Tammy Fugate, and together with my husband Dean, we have been involved in breeding purebred Himalayans for 15 years. Since I can remember myself I have always loved cats and dogs, and from a very young age I was surrounded by feline and canine companions.

Cats always held a special place in my heart. I admired Himalayans, particularly the Lilac and Chocolate points. Now I have my own breeding program and very proud of my accomplishments.

Dry Run Himalayans is a small cageless cattery located in the Blacksburg VA. Litters are kept to a minimum to ensure ongoing maximum quality care and health of all. Queens are bred no more than twice each year.

All breeders and kittens are raised underfoot. For obvious reasons, all but the studs have the complete run of the house and from birth, are well socialized. Our 3 small children keep everyone well socialized and acclimated to young children. The breeders as well as the kittens are quite familiar with building blocks, legos, tea parties, and baby dolls. Dry Run's aim is to produce beautiful kittens with cuddly teddy-bear personalities, with big sweet open expressions. We breed for health and temperament as our first priority above all else.......
