Here in the South the American Eskimo dog is recognized as a pet above and beyond others.
This pup is a joyful addition to your family.
In the 1800's a portrait of the Queen of England showed 2 beautiful American Eskimo dogs. In the 1930's the American Eskimo was the circus dog walking the high wire, jumping through flaming hoops and riding bareback on the circus parade horses in the famous Barnum and Bailey, Ringling Brothers 3 ring circus which toured all over the world.
Our farm and kennel are in the most beautiful section of Southeast Louisiana just below the Mississippi state border where Donald and Julie Easley have been dog breeders and have cared for UKC registered American Eskimos for over 23 years.
Granny's hearts with pups.
Our dogs are throughout the U.S. We will try to ship our pups if you so desire. The airport in Baton Rouge, LA would be our shipping point if you cannot come to pick up your pet and visit our kennel.
We are very careful dog breeders, always taking care not to breed related parents. We have 7 sires and 10 females; standards, miniatures and a small number of toys. When our pups are whelped, the mother is given a 5 in 1 booster shot which gives immunity to the pups. We feed Purina food. The pups are professionally wormed and given a vet exam and a 5 in 1 shot before they leave for your home.
All my dogs and pups are on Nuvetplus K9 vitamins and each shipped pup receives a sample. Visit their website at www.nuvet.com/83695.
We require no contract...in my experience ESKIE buyers are fine folks. Maybe you've been looking for love in all the wrong places, our American Eskimos WILL love you back. A doggie can express more with his tail in minutes than you as his owner can express with your mouth in hours. We have no physical, behavioral or emotional problems in our kennel and our dogs are friendly and loving to children, adults and other animals.
Our motto is, "Pups that love you back". We hope to see you soon and God Bless You and the pup you choose.
Pets that love us back and love one another.
Dear Dog and Cat,
When I say to move, it means to go somewhere else, not switch positions with each other so there are still two of you in the way. The dishes with the paw print are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food. Please note, placing a paw print in the middle of my plate and food does not stake a claim for it becoming your food and dish, nor do I find that aesthetically pleasing in the slightest.
The stairway was not designed by NASCAR and is therefore not a racetrack. Beating me to the bottom is not the object. Tripping me doesn't help either, because I fall faster than you can run.
I cannot buy anything bigger than a king size bed. I am very sorry about this. Do not think I will resort to sleeping on the sofa to ensure your comfort. Look at videos of dogs and cats sleeping, they can actually curl up in a ball. It is not necessary to sleep perpendicular to each other stretched out to the fullest extent possible. I also know that sticking tails straight out and having tongues hanging out the other end to maximize space used is nothing but sarcasm.
My compact discs are not miniature Frisbees.
For the last time, there is not a secret exit from the bathroom. If by some miracle I beat you there and manage to get the door shut, it is not necessary to claw, whine, try to turn the knob, or get your paw under the edge and try to pull the door open. When I exit this room, I will come out the same door I entered. In addition, I have been using bathrooms for years. Canine /Feline attendance has never been necessary.
The proper order is kiss me, then go smell the other dog's butt. I cannot stress this enough. It would be such a simple change for you.
Now, In return for your following these simple rules, I have posted the following message on our front door: Rules for Non-Pet Owners Who Visit and Like to Complain About Our Pets:
1. They live here. You don't.
2. If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture.
3. I like my pets a lot better than I like most people.
4. To you, it's an animal. To me, he/she is an adopted son/daughter who is short, hairy, walks on all fours and doesn't speak clearly.
5. Dogs and cats are better than kids. They eat less, don't ask for money all the time, are easier to train, usually come when called, never drive our car, don't hang out with drug-using friends, don't smoke or drink, don't worry about buying the latest fashions, don't wear your clothes, don't need a gazillion dollars for college, and if they get pregnant, you can sell the results.
Dear Mrs. Julie Easley,
I just wanted to tell you how our baby Scout is doing. We love him so much! He is about 9 months old and we got him in July. The whole family loves him so much and he is so spoiled. We house-trained him a while ago, and he hardly ever has an accident anymore. We just don't know what we would do without him! Here are some attached pictures him- Thanks you so much for everything!

I thought you might want to see the puppies new brothers. They are doing great and we love them.
To say I had a little trepidation about buying a puppy from so far away would be true. However my fears evaporated when I saw "Samuel" for the first time at our airport. He is now about 10 weeks old and growing like a weed. He is a joy to be around and will no doubt mature into a loving friend and housemate. He has bonded with my wife and I and our five year old Japanese Spitz, from whom he is learning new things every day. He is almost housebroken, and sleeps through the night with no problems.
I heartily recommend you to anyone seeking this type of dog. I hope to meet you soon and we will definitely call you looking for a female companion for Samuel.

Mike and Cindy were so pleased with their first Eskie, they are now the proud owners of a second one.
They are very satisfied Eskie owners.
Here is a picture of Pip (Pip Squeak) at 10 weeks of age. I got him from Granny Julie on November 6, 2003. I had been looking for a toy male American Eskimo for over a year and finally decided that Julie seemed to have the best pup for me. I had been talking with Julie for a full year and she was very understanding with my delay on finding the "best" dog for our family. I was very nervous about driving so far and not being sure that this pup would be "the one" I wanted. My sister and I drove down to Louisiana from Kentucky, a 10 hour drive, to pick him up. All my fears went away at once when I saw Pip and met Julie. I knew this dog was perfect for us.
We drove all the way back home that same day and Pip was great. We stopped several times at rest stops to let him out and play with him and the rest of the time driving he sat in my lap sleeping. When we got home my four children and husband to meet him. This picture was a few weeks later outside in front yard. We were working on housebreaking. He is doing great and Granny Julie will always be a part of our lives. She is a wonderful woman and has many great dogs. I will be sending her pictures of Pip frequently so that she can watch her grandpuppy grow up into a full grown dog.
Lots of Love, Pip and his family, Kristyn, Ethan, Brandon, Chase, Wesley, and Matthew.
I live right outside of Philadelphia. I got Taz when he was 8 weeks old from Granny Julie. I flew to Louisiana from Philly to pick him up, the week before Christmas. My friends and family thought I was out of my mind. It was a long day, 18hrs from start to finish, but it was well worth it. I fell in love the instant Julie put him in my arms. Julies motto is the pups that love you back. I thought that was just a sales pitch. I couldnt have been more wrong. He brings me such joy and happiness, that if I had to make that trip again I would. I could have had him shipped, but I wanted to have the opportunity to meet Granny Julie in person. She is such a sweet person. Also, I am aware that Julie loves her grand-children, so I wanted to give her the opportunity to meet me and know that this puppy she was giving up, would be loved and cared for to the best of my ability. I love Taz with all of my heart. I honestly think that the feeling is mutual. We will be best friends forever.
Last March our beloved Eskie, Clara, died at age 12 and a half. We were devastated and soon started looking around to find a breeder so that we could raise another Eskimo Dog. We found no breeders in Arkansas, but ran across Julie's web page during one of our searches. We visited her kennel in late March and in June we went back to pick up our new baby. Throughout the whole process Julie was patient with our many questions and concerns, and when the big day came, she let us pick our own puppy out of all the ones she had available. Actually, Maggie picked us! She climbed out of the box she was in with her brothers and sisters, licked our feet and hands, and followed us around the yard! We knew immediately that she was the one! And we have not regretted our decision since! She is sweet natured and very smart. We know that she is going to be a wonderful companion when she is grown up. Julie is right when she say that she raises "pups who love you back"!

This is Brandy, the beautiful snow white Eskie that I got from Granny Julie. I had contacted many breeders, but something about Granny and seeing all her beautiful pups, made up my mind. From the moment I contacted her, I knew I had made the right choice. She kept in contact with me constantly till my puppy arrived. Brandy was flown in from Louisiana to Philly and made out just fine. She is so beautiful and sweet. My family and I just love her. I wish I could have met Granny Julie. Maybe someday I will.
Totally satisfied owner of a snow white Eskie
We LOVE our puppy! His name is Meeko. Thank you for shipping him to us. He did great on his flight from Louisiana to California; he even kept his crate clean. Meeko also likes going for rides in cars. For the first few days he had his ears flopped and now they're up. He is so very happy. We took him on a picnic and he enjoyed that very much. Meeko has already started puppy school. He is the valedictorian; and was the first to learn the "sit" command. We mailed off the registration papers yesterday. I bought him pedigree puppy chow he loves it. Tomorrow I am taking him to the groomers to get his nails, ears, eyes checked.
The first few days home he was always sleeping, eating, sleeping, eating. But now he plays like a puppy (his puppy teeth hurt!!). We love him so extremely much. We will keep in contact and let you know how he is growing. Thank you again for our precious little guy. Have a great day and GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY. Anissa Santee (10 years old)
Tedi Behr came to us at the age of 10 months (we are the second owners) and has brought joy to our home. He will be 2 years old Dec. 1, and he is the most playful, affectionate, beautiful dog one could have hoped for. Thank you Grandma Julie.
Love, Ginni and Bernie.
Dear Mrs. Julie,
I just wanted to write and let you know how Wookie was doing. As you can see from the pictures he's growing fast. He is so playful and everyone loves him so much. He's getting his puppy shots right now and we're waiting on his papers to come in. I'll send you some more pictures as he gets older.
Thank you so much for everything, Michelle Pierce.
This is Yeska a 10 weeks old. I had taken the doll out off the bottom shelf so she wouldn't damage it. Then out of the blue, she just jumped in an posed like she belonged there. I happened to have the camera in my hand at the time, or I would have never gotten the picture.
Your pup can do all this too!
