Some of Our Blackthorn Shepherds

For thirty years we have raised and shown German Shepherds who combine the best of our elegant, fine American lines with Germany's top show and working bloodlines. We strive for the "best of both" in dogs of consistent quality, who are assets, not liabilities - sources of pride and pleasure. Member GSDCA, Working Dog Association & signer of Breeders Code of Ethics. While most of our pups are beloved family companions, many have been successful in conformation, advanced obedience, herding, search and rescue as well as service work for handicapped owners. Our black & red homebred pictured below is as comfortable in my kindergarten class as he is at home.
