| Bevellas Beauties is a family owned business that was
started in 1996. Since then, we have become Bevellas
Beauties Pet Salon LLC. On our farm we enjoy raising a
variety of small dogs such as Poodles, Shih Tzu, Pekingese,
Dachshunds and Designer Poo mixes. We strongly
encourage spay/neuter for your pet. Life on the farm
is relaxing though busy at times. If you are looking
for “just the right pet puppy” we may have just what you are
looking for. |

Frequently Asked Questions:
How do I housetrain my puppy?
We strongly recommend crate training. It has been
extremely successful for us. Puppies are also already
newspaper trained before leaving us and have been started on
puppy pads and crate training.
What guarantee do you give with your puppies?
We give a one year genetic guarantee. |
 |
 |
What breed is best for my family and I?
We recommend that you research any/all breeds that you are
interested in. It is a policy with us to not sell just
any puppy to a family. We want you to know about the
breed you are getting so you and the puppy will be happy
with each other.
Are your puppies registered?
Yes, we register our puppies with CKC and deal with CKC on
getting you non-purebred papers for our Poo mixes, i.e.
Shihapoo, Pekepoo, and Cockapoo. |
What are Poo mixes?
These are puppies that are mixed with the Poodle. One
parent is a purebred Poodle while the other is in our case
either a Cocker Spaniel, Pekingese or shih-Tzu. The puppies of
these parents are considered to be a F1 generation. Next, we
breed two F1 generation parents to have F2 generations. At any
point, you can breed either purebred back to the bloodline to
balance out the genetic pool. At the F5 point, CKC will allow
papers acknowledging that we have a new Designer breed. |
 |
 |
What is a Designer breed?
This is a breed that results in a balance of two purebreds
crossed together or two that have already been crossed
together.
Why Designer?
Crossing two purebreds is done to better improve the puppy
and its genetic makeup. Dominant genes tend to pursure
from the two different breeds resulting in a stronger,
healthier puppy. |
What health measures
have you taken in care of the puppy I am purchasing?
Your puppies are dewormed at 2, 3,4 and 6 weeks of age, then
8 and 12 weeks if they are still with us. Also, they
are given Da2PPv at 6, 9 and 12 weeks of age. The vet
gives the rabies shot at 13 weeks or 3 months if the puppy
is still in our care. At any time, additional medical
treatment may be given if needed for problems such as
diarrhea or stress in addition to any other concerns we may
have. |
 |
| As for nutrition, Your puppy has received Eukanuba Premium
nutrition since utero and the dam and sire prior to planned
breeding. All breeders are kept on Eukanuba with the
exception of our Collies whom do very well on Purina Dog
Chow or Puppy Chow when pregnant. Vitamins are
administered as needed, Puppy Gold is a favorite addition I
like to give to their diets and of course, puppy vitamin
drops are also given as needed. |

Do you take a deposit and if so, how much?
We take ½ down cost of puppy.
Do you ship puppies?
Puppies are protected in that the airlines must follow
strict regulations on shipping of animals. If
temperatures are in the safe range for shipping, this is a
possibility that we can consider. We also do deliver
puppies for a small fee. |
