Anita, Just wanted you to update you on our
beautiful puppy. She is now five months old and boy is she big!
It's hard to believe we picked the smallest female. She is a sweetie
though. Very smart and has a great personality. She now weighs
35 to 40 pounds. People find it hard to believe that she's only 5 months old. They think she is full grown. Our Vet said she
would probably get to a range of 80 to 100 pounds. My son really
loves her and they play so well together. She loves being outside,
but wants to stay inside with us at night. |
| Anita, Just wanted to let you know Sarg is really doing good he has to wait till October to come to Alaska but he went to the vet on Monday and he now weighs 91 pounds. My mom has been watching him for me and she just loves him, he knows when she has had a bad day and will always do something to make her laugh. He has really turned out to be one of the best dogs, he loves to be in your lap or he has to be touching you. I can't say enough about him, thank you guys so much, he has really become a family member and not just a pet. I couldn't have asked for a dog with a better temperament than him, he never meets a stranger. Hope to be able to send you pictures soon. |

Anita, Just ran across your web site
again and knew I hadn't corresponded with you in a while. My husband
picked up our Jack from you 4 short years ago. What addition to our
family!!! His personality continues to amuse us and his strong will
continues to test us. Most of the time we are sure of who is in
charge - the rest of the time we think we are! Jack topped out at
25" at the shoulder and he ranges between 73 and 76 pounds - more in the
winter when he is "fuzzed out". He has had no health problems other
than grass seeds in between his toes. A short hair cut solves that
problem easily. Bottom line we are enjoying him thoroughly. We
wish you well and thanks again for such a wonderful friend. |

Anita, I just wanted
to write to tell you how much fun we are having with our new Airedale
puppy Crockett. He is just so awesome!!! He is a great dog very smart,
tons of spirit!! He is already learning tricks he fetches a ball,
comes to us by name already and loves to play with toys. He knows that
his puppy crate (which we have in our bedroom) is his bed and goes in
there all by himself when he is tired it is so funny!! I will send
some pictures as he starts to get bigger. Take care and hope you have a
great school year!! Theresa Block/Carthage, MO |

Anita, Just wanted
to let you know how Cassidy is coming. She is now as you know, 10
months old and very healthy. She's a very big female, I'd say about
23 inches and about 65 pounds. She eats like a pig, but has so much
energy that she's slim. I take her for a jog/walk every morning, two
miles, and another shorter walk after dinner. Believe me, I run out
of gas before she does. She loves to play 24/7, if you let her.
She loves all people and other dogs, but hasn't yet learned that all dogs
do not love her. She is still that lap dog you were talking about,
she is incredibly affectionate, not only to us, but any person she meets,
they are her long lost friends that deserve her undying love and devotion.
I don't know if any or all your dogs are like this, but I have never seen
a more agile, athletic dog. She effortlessly glides, jumps, and
moves like a greyhound. If she could just climb up that darn tree
and catch that elusive squirrel, it would make her day. Anyway, I
could go on and on, but I just wanted you to know that while I wouldn't
exactly put a halo over her head (she is, after all, an Airedale), we
couldn't be happier with her. Dale/TN |

June 6, 2009 Hi Anita,
I just wanted to tell you we still have our Airedale, Teala, that you sent
us 8 years ago. She was born 2/08/01. She is the sweetest dog
we have ever owned. She does not like warm weather, so we always say
that when you asked who wants to go to Minnesota, she raised her paw, and
said "I do!" Her favorite thing to do is to go to one of our many
lakes around here, and just run along the beach and have us throw a rock
in the water, so she can dig in the sand for it. No balls, sticks,
just rocks. I just wanted to thank you again. She has brought
so much joy to our lives, and she is living the good life.
Thank you. |
