Maine Coon - Known as a working cat, this cat is a great hunter and was bred to endure harsh climates. They have broad chests, a long, rectangular body and square muzzles. This shaggy-coated breed comes in a variety of colors. They are a large cat, females being somewhat smaller than males, though still considerably larger than the average housecat. The Maine Coon has a great, easy-going disposition.
