Jack Russell Terrier -
Developed in the 19th century, the Jack Russell Terrier is almost identical to the Parson Jack
Russell. These dogs are perky, merry, devoted and loving. Absolutely fearless, they are hyperactive bundles of muscle with strong hunting instincts. Feisty and exuberant, they can be difficult to train and require a firm hand. They are good climbers and can easily jump 5 feet high. Jack Russells require lots of stimulating exercise. They are easy to groom, just brush regularly. These dogs weigh 14 to 18 lbs. and stand
10-15" at the shoulders.
